Steve Smith is a technology and telecommunications professional and long-time Westside Costa Mesa resident who believes Costa Mesa has a tremendous future ahead if its leadership steers it in the right direction. He’s running for city council to break through business as usual, bring accountable and experienced leadership to City Hall, and build a more prosperous, safe and beautiful Costa Mesa for all its residents. 

 

With over a decade of experience in the telecommunications industry, Steve has spent his career analyzing complex problems and finding innovative solutions. He is running to bring that same approach to the Costa Mesa city council. Steve also currently serves on Costa Mesa’s Animal Services Committee, where he works to build and promote animal services programs and resources throughout the city. 

 

In his spare time, you can find Steve catching a movie at the Triangle Square Movie Theater, taking his dog Kylie to TeWinkle Park, or enjoying a milkshake at “The Straw.”
