This election represents a significant opportunity to get our city moving. Steve loves Costa Mesa and appreciates its vibrant, eclectic character. Our city has lost its way, and Steve wants to steer our city towards focusing on the basics: a safe and vibrant community, responsible stewardship of our precious resources and treasures, and a hyper-focus on energetically building up the greatest city in the world so we can prosper as a community

Years of bureaucratic regulations, delays and fees have caused businesses to move elsewhere. Streamlining permitting and removing unnecessary red tape is going to attract business and bring jobs to Costa Mesa. Promoting positive and mutually beneficial relationships helps everyone win!

Crime has risen above state and national averages in Costa Mesa. Families should feel safe here. Whether you live near Newport Blvd and 17th or Mesa Verda. When elected, Steve will fully fund our police department and support competitive pay while backing policies that ensure our officers are integrated into neighborhoods and can build relationships based on respect and confidence that prevent crime and move us from a reactive policy to a proactive one.

Responsible fiscal policy is the basis of all sound governance. Wise budgetary management can deliver essential services like public safety, infrastructure and maintenance, and parks without unsustainable debt and new tax burdens. Steve believes in prioritizing core services and focusing on the basics of the city, eliminating frivolous spending, and making data-driven decisions that ensure our city remains financially viable for our children and the future.
